Wobbles

Permission to Wobble

It is my good fortune to have been working recently with clients who were born in the 1990s.
They have particular Numerological charts, having always at least two Nines in their year, and if born in September, or on a 9th, 19th or 29th,  even more Nines in the grid.
A Number Grid is like a tic-tac-toe frame, with a digit in each of the nine boxes. Beginning at the bottom lift, they move upwards, the way living things grow.

Nine Energy
As the highest of the single digits, Nine ...

The Freedom of Spirit 2/2

The Freedom of Spirit (continued)

Each of us is a Spiritual entity having a Human Experience, and that identity is formulated in all four of the planes of life: Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual.
As a child of the last century, I was born into a population which spent a thousand years with a predominant One energy.  Every birth-date included that vibration.
One carries an understanding of self, the ability to connect with a core identity and ego, it is with One that we can say "This ...

Celebrate Change

  Celebrate Change
So called New Age thinkers, and other mystics have been naming The Shift throughout recent history, and sometimes it is framed as something novel and unimaginable.
This is not a first time: merely the next in a progression. Past Shifts have altered how we view the Universe, ourselves, and the world around us.
The Ancient world subscribed to a geocentric view. They believed that everything they saw in the sky was rotating around the Earth, and when Aristarchus ...

Celebrate Potential

Celebrate Potential
One of my favourite novels is Stranger in a Strange Land  by Robert A Heinlein.  Published in 1961  it tells the story of Valentine Michael Smith, a human who was born on the planet Mars, and raised by Martians, completely isolated from all human culture.
Smith arrives in America as a young adult, and must come to terms with human society. The novel deconstructs the systems that humans take for granted as people attempt to explain the reasons and rationales that th...

Proud Cry-Baby

Proud Cry-Baby

When I think about my Shift in the Emotional Plane, I have to recognize that I grew up in a culture which revered the stiff upper lip (non-expression) of the Empire building Englishman. The attitudes which surrounded my formative self taught me about bringing civilization to savage peoples,  and justification was offered when their primitive nature was found in willingness to wail in the presence of death; or to shriek in the experience of pain.
In my early years, no o...

Inhale. Exhale. Shift.

Inhale. Exhale. Shift.

The Shift. It is word that could describe a single, simple thing. The Shift, however, is not a single thing, and it is far from simple.
Shift is not an easy concept and it is not an easy process to describe. Saying that all aspects of The Shift can be defined and described in a blog post is a little like suggesting that one can discuss Life and all of its facets.
A complex and multidimensional notion, The Shift can be understood holistically only when we...

The Crate Story

The Crate Story

To Shift is to move from one place to another: a crate can be shifted from the floor to a shelf.
When that happens, there is a time when the crate is no longer on the floor, occupying the previous position, and it has not yet arrived at the destination point.
In many ways, in relation to the societal Shift, we are currently living this ‘in-between’ time, and perhaps the movement of the crate can serve as a parable.
Imagine a world where people live inside ...

Gifts of The Shift

Gifts of The Shift

When I first arrived in this human incarnation, I had come to a family where adults and a young sibling were my teachers. We lived circumstances that would predispose me to the learning I intended to accomplish. I believed that security would ease me into the physical realm. My expectation was that I would be taught the secrets of success and thus I would succeed. It wasn’t quite like that.
Years later, as I became more independent, I looked for predictability and...

Shifting Self to Shift the World

Shifting Self to Shift the World

A global Shift in consciousness is taking place, and it may be affecting you in a number of ways. Jim Malloy suggests that the energy of Shift can make life feel harder to enjoy than in the past. Emotional intensity and racing thoughts may fill your mind and feed a sense of anxiety. Physically you may be tense or compelled to stay busy. Impatience and urgency and obsessions might jockey for your attention, and sometimes there is a swing from optimism to pe...

The Ongoing Shift

The Ongoing Shift

Before December 2012, there was lots of hype about the supposed end of the Mayan calendar. There were all sorts of tabloid writings and broadcasts about the end of the world as we know it; and plenty of opportunities for a few people to profit from the sales of books and retreats and coping skills that could be applied to the singular moment in history which had often been called The Shift.
Once the date had passed, the hype mostly disappeared and life went on. For ...

May Every Living Thing Be Full of Bliss

May Every Living Thing Be Full of Bliss

When I met my late partner in 1990 it took only a few moments to shift from being a regular person going about my day, to being wildly certain that I had met my soul-mate. I was plunged into overwhelming romantic love, totally unable to articulate what I was feeling.
I was blessed to be in alignment; my journey was unfolding as intended. We had almost 17 years together before my partner transitioned back to the Unseen, and left me, much changed,...

2013, my new personal cycle

2013, my new personal cycle

2013 was a Six universal year and my personal One year. It is the nature of my chart that my new cycles align with Six’s energies of service. As I grow older I see more and more opportunities to serve the people around me, and to align myself with the life I intended and am slowly remembering. .
Last year I was firmly in the mental plane during a year that vibrated with an emotional number. Now I will be installed on the emotional while the world is expres...
