Aligning Yourself with August

      The Number Cycle is like the mythical Wheel of Fortune. As it turns, life moves forward and when a revolution completes, the cycle starts again. We are changed by what we experience during the rotation, and the next turn of the wheel offers possibilities to navigate similar circumstances with our new perspectives.
     The extreme Seven energy of July has been a challenge for me. No doubt this was an aspect of my life-intention, and it may explain my preoccupation with the Seven frequency even before it manifested. July echoed the summer energies of 1987, 1996 and 2005, and I have been confronted with new possibilities for the integration or release of particular vibrations. Expression of my life intention is under renovation.
     I am in a Two Personal Year, and the middle of July found me out of integrity. I was required to make some agonizing decisions about how I am to conduct myself during the years ahead.
     For anyone who is in a Two Personal year, August opens a new cycle. Our individual visions for ourselves may be much changed by how we responded to the difficulties and gifts of July: we must be open to the unexpected in the next weeks.
     If you are in a Three Personal Year, August will present you with new and stimulating relationships. These may be new friends or neighbours, or people you meet inside organizations where you spend time. Some of your new acquaintances may be people with whom you have Sacred Contracts, and you will adjust karmic balance as you relate in enlightened ways.
    In a Four Personal Year August is time to venture out of that reliable four-side box. Your soul is creative and capable of channeling novelty into the world. This month you are the conduit through which innovation and originality can flow. Do not be intimidated or feel that your ideas are ‘far out’: you are bringing exactly what the world needs.
     If this is a Five Personal Year for you it is time to pause in the whirlwind of your explorations, and take a good look at your priority list. The growth that is happening in your life is all wonderful, and it is a good idea to see where some fields overlap, and some areas can be released without any real loss. Apply some of your immense imagination to see where you want to be next year, and see which current activities will most benefit from your focused attention.
    August vibrates with changing energy for people in a Six Personal Year. There may be opportunities for physical travel, where you move geographically. There may be movement in the way that you think and interact with the world. The vibration is progressive and filled with growth. Like a turn on the labyrinth path, the changes and learning that the month offers will affect your future direction.
     In a Seven Year, personal frequency for August will lead you to new ways you can make the world a better place. This might be as easy and natural as reading stories to a young child, and laying a foundation for a lifetime of learning. It might be as complex as setting up an organization to perform services that improve the very conditions of life, or most likely somewhere in between.
      In an Eight Personal Year August will offer decision making, the need to look at all sides of a question, and the possibility of bringing balance to some areas of life that have been teetering and needing attention. Although Eight vibrates on the mental plane, it includes energies from the Spiritual as well. This month will offer the option to bring Spirit into your everyday, quietly, and without fanfare.
      A Nine Personal Year includes an August of tying together some of the loose ends that have been sidelined for the last few months. Some projects and tasks that have slipped of your radar may reappear and demand immediate attention. There is work to be done, and it cannot happen if your energy is stagnating. Assign time to the research you need; spend time in nature for inspiration; remember that you and your accomplishments exist in community, and make space for the dialogues and inputs that will improve your results.
     If 2014 is your One Personal Year you are concluding a sequence of events that began in October of 2013. Designate the necessary time and reach the conclusion, or pass the work to someone else to complete it. Use August to review the growth and learning that has come to you since last autumn: you may find yourself and your life much changed. This is as it should be.
     Every path will be crossed by reasons, excuses and opportunities to make the world a better place. This is always true, and August offers deep support for simple, conscious actions to make a profound impact in our homes, villages, and the communities that nurture us.


To calculate your Personal Year Number for 2014:
Add the number of the Day you were born, to the number of the month you were born, and then add Seven. Keep adding until you have only one digit.

For example: my birthday is 28 March, so I add 2+8 = 10, and   1+0 = 1
                                           March is the third month, and I add the       3
                                                                 2+0+1+4=7 so I add the        7
                                                                               1+3+7 = 11, and 1+1=2:
I am in a Two Personal Year during 2014.
If you were born on the 27 February, you would add 9+2+7= Nine for a Personal Year number.
26 April 8+4+7= One
7 June 7+6+7= Two 
2 July is 2+7+7 = Eight
25 October 7+1+7 = Six

And so on.
